battlefield of sensations                                                                 acryl on canvas

sometimes human life seems to be a battlefield of arising emotions in an ocean of unfullfilled wishes. silhouettes of human genders fight their shadow-play on a colourful battlefield of sensations. why paint all that suffer?

“this lady, maam”, he answered, “turned out to be Mr Rochesters remembered tones still picturing her pale and spiritual aspect, her kuyftjupzqk” – which brain brings forth such a sentence? (spam-comment)

Wollt ihr das bett in flammen sehen

Wollt ihr in haut und haaren untergehen

Ihr wollt doch auch den dolch ins laken stecken

Ihr wollt doch auch das blut vom degen lecken

Rammstein

Ihr seht die kreuze auf dem kissen

Ihr meint euch darf die unschuld kuessen

Ihr glaubt zu toeten waere schwer

Doch wo kommen all die toten her

Rammstein

Rammstein

  1. awesome!great keep it up

  2. perhaps you know this one special verse by rammstein.
there’s a connection to your painting.

  3. do you mean the expression “battlefield of sensations” as part of a verse? – I do not know lyrics by rammstein

  4. no, but it’s similar. Look for “wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen” then you will find the verse I meant.

it’s a pity. Till Lindemann is a great poet!

  5. by the way, your description of life reminds me of the wonderful song “Sorry” by Feist.

  6. ok. it is a brutal text. have doubts it fits to my painting, but – by the way – I post it there. maybe somebody feels touched too. IS my painting really as brutal as that lyrics? – may offend words more than images?

  7. yes it’s brutal I know. Now it’s the time to reveal: “sex is a battle, love is war” that was the verse I meant!

I see your battlefield in connection with this verse. (just an intuition)

(the lyric side is for instance the song “Rosenrot”)
