when I worked on that image, I had no idea on Gilbert & George. but after finishing I thought to recognize a simulacrum in appearance. allthough the history of origin was another: I felt defintely alone with the anatomical model of this face of a criminal published in a wide-spread national newspaper by the executive authority asking the citizens for further helping investigations. & I had some interferences in working on it about prospective unknown observations on my person as creator.
